Description

The architectural project is located on a site with a pronounced slope, a condition that is considered as an opportunity to create a proposal that adapts to the topography. The spatial strategy is to use the lower levels of the site to accommodate the living spaces.

At the top, the volume is shifted towards the western boundary, freeing the eastern orientation to promote cross-ventilation. This compositional gesture allows the creation of a third façade, in addition to the north and south orientations, enhancing natural lighting and passive ventilation throughout the house.

The façade is made of exposed concrete, and the structural scheme is configured by load-bearing walls that descend from the edges of the site to the foundation, connected transversely to allow a free plan configuration, eliminating the need for intermediate columns and maximizing spatial flexibility.

The vertical circulation core is materialized in a central staircase that, adjacent to a triple-height void, not only articulates the different levels of the project, but also consolidates itself as a key element of the spatial and structural composition. Its strategic position reinforces the distribution of the program and optimizes internal communication.

The visuals of the project are oriented towards the cliff and the golf course, framing the landscape as a protagonist element within the user's experience. The volumetric composition is defined by overlapping elements with cantilevers at the ends, integrated into the mixed structural system of load-bearing walls and steel beams.

The house is consolidated in a design that seeks a balance between functionality, materiality and landscape.
