ARCHETONIC is a multidisciplinary firm based in Mexico City that brings together experience, intuition, and young talent. Our practice is the lens through which we perceive the world.

Through an exploration of the many layers of design —within the experimental and the concrete— we conceive spaces using a systemic methodology: autonomous and responsive to their context, with emphasis on spatial quality, economic coherence, structural rationality, and material honesty.

We collaborate on projects of diverse scales and typologies, pushing the boundaries of what is conventional within our discipline, and reflecting on how we build and inhabit spaces at both the regional and local level, in urban environments as well as natural settings.

We build our architecture. This has tightly linked the studio’s philosophy to its materialization on site, its tectonics, and the circumstances of the process.

We cultivate strong relationships with all those involved—actively and passively—in our projects, and seek interventions that bring meaningful and tangible value to both the territory and the people who inhabit it.

More than 120 projects built by the practice are supported by publications and awards, both local and international.
