In 2016, Archetonic participated in the Abierto Mexicano de Diseño, a platform that brings together interventions, exhibitions, and activities in the public space of Mexico City. For the office, these instances represent an opportunity to work in more open formats, in direct contact with the city and its everyday dynamics.

As part of the program, a temporary pavilion was designed on Avenida Juárez, between the Alameda Central and the Palacio de Bellas Artes. Conceived as a rectangular tower made of colored fabric strips, the piece invited direct interaction with passersby. Surrounded by a series of steps, the structure allowed visitors to ascend and observe the urban environment from different angles through viewing devices integrated at the top.

Inspired by traditional Mexican fairs, the pavilion drew on the ability to generate collective experiences with minimal resources. The intervention functioned as a device for observation and encounter, temporarily activating public space and establishing new relationships between architecture, the city, and its users.
