To consolidate a format through which the archive of a practice can be presented requires a deep internal process of organization, but also the adoption of a position: on how architecture is seen and represented, as much as on how it is conceived and built. Organizing an archive is inseparable from architectural practice and from the philosophy of an office; categorization is itself a form of reflection, and to organize and define boundaries is also an act of design.

In the redesign of our website, scale became the principle through which we structure our archive and articulate the practice. More than a matter of measurement, we understand it as a way of ordering, reading, and establishing relationships—a tool capable of bringing different dimensions together within a shared system. The previous structures through which we organized our work distinguished between typologies and modes of practice, responding to specific moments in the studio’s development. Today, however, we see scale as a more open framework, capable of creating transversal relationships across them.

There is, first, a physical scale: the diversity of projects we develop across different sizes, programs, and scopes. But there is also an operational scale, where each project brings together a network of disciplines, trades, and collaborations that reveal the complexity of its execution.

Architecture is constructed as a collective system, where multiple layers of work coexist and intersect. Added to this is a temporal scale: more than thirty years of practice that allow the work to be read across different stages, recognizing continuities, transformations, and lessons learned. Within this overlap, accumulated experience and new perspectives coexist, expanding the studio’s field of action.

Understood in this way, scale reveals where our attention is placed—not only as architects, but also as builders. It becomes a means through which we can address different audiences with the same narrative and tone: speaking authentically to what matters to each of them, while maintaining a shared language.

Our new website is not simply a communication platform, but the result of an introspective process that required us to question and redefine both our processes and our identity. It is a platform that organizes projects while also reflecting the relationships, processes, and ways of working behind them: an open system that gives structure to our archive, but also becomes a tool capable of informing our design processes and evolving alongside the practice itself.
